Vet Nurse Awareness Week is celebrated every year and aims to educate the public about veterinary nurses and their vital role as part of the veterinary team. It aims to reinforce the value and professionalism of veterinary nurses to veterinarians and the public and provide an opportunity for veterinary nurses to acknowledge one another for excellent performance in their work.
Managing Director of Tauranga Te Puan Katikati and Papamoa Village Vets says a vet nurse is an integral part to a well-functioning veterinary clinic and that we are fortunate to have amazing, dedicated, and passionate nurses in our teams.
Business Manager Janelle Nee agrees, saying that across our four clinics we are privileged to employ 17 fantastic vet nurses. “Each of them contributes hugely to ensuring our clients beloved pets are well cared for and always receive the BestCare promise we make to all of our clients,” she adds.
Vet Nurse Awareness week is a chance for all staff and clients to show their appreciation to all our amazing nurses across our four clinics!
