Beau’s Summer Surprise: A Grass Seed Story
When Beau arrived at the clinic for his vaccination, everything seemed routine until his owners pointed out something on the roof of his mouth. Curious and concerned, Vet Len took a closer look. Tucked far back was a suspicious object that looked like a grass seed.
Initially, we hoped to remove it without sedation, but the seed was lodged too far back. To ensure Beau’s comfort and allow us to safely remove the foreign object, we performed a quick sedation. Once under sedation, we carefully extracted what turned out to be a small piece of seedy grass and thoroughly flushed the area to prevent any irritation or infection.
Thankfully, the procedure was straightforward, and Beau recovered quickly. He was back to his bright-eyed, wiggly-tailed self in no time, ready to explore the world with his usual puppy enthusiasm. During his visit, everyone at the clinic fell in love with his adorable personality and cheerful spirit. Beau’s adventure reminds us that even the smallest concerns can make a big difference when addressed by a dedicated veterinary team.
